Feedly's slogan is "The content you need to accelerate your research, marketing, and sales". Which to me, is a pretty good representation.

Feedly is not only a place to read information, it's a place where you can also organize and share that content. Feedly gives you both customization and the ability to share with others.

Feedly allows you to search topics of whatever you want and finds you many media sources related to it, and combines it into all into one place.

I downloaded Feedly onto my android phone to give it a go.

I used Feedly to search a topic of my choosing... Pets!

Feedly came up with many results and let me choose the sources I wanted to add to my collection.

You can select what media sources interest you, and then save it under a "collection" name of your choosing. Feedly is great because it gives you a mix of all different types of sources...

After I selected a few sources that I thought I would be interested, I navigated around the app.

I was intrigued by the option to choose a "theme" but was rather disappointed which it just switch the background between  black and white. I know makes content more easy to read... but I know personally more intricate themes would have better caught my attention and would have made me feel that it was more customized to me, therefore making me more likely to stay with Feedly.

I found Feedly quite confusing to navigate. Switching between articles and sources got a little confusing for me. It took me quite a while to figure it out... and I still haven't completely figured it out. I kept on it because it was for a school assignment... however, if this wasn't for school and I was just the average user, I likely would have been too frustrated from the start and deleted the app almost right away. Which is NOT good news for Feedly.

It's good for those who constantly want to be up to date with the most recent news, on the topics they care about, because Feedly gives you the most recent sources first.

Like their claim says, it probably is ideal for research, marketing, and sales, as you could easily be up to date with things. But that just isn't my cup of tea.

Overall, I thought it was a fun app, with a good idea, but I likely won't use it again.
